The Hanover Deepens Its Commitment To The National Association Of Professional Insurance Agents

WORCESTER, Mass. (November 9, 2007) – The Hanover Insurance Group, Inc. (NYSE: THG), a leading super regional property and casualty company, today announced it has extended its commitment to the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA). The Partnership, the company will assume a position on The Partnership’s Board of Directors.

As part of its commitment, a representative of The Hanover will serve on The Partnership, an agency-company council developed to facilitate dialogue and develop solution-oriented research and practical tools to assist agents and carriers in expanding their businesses and supporting each other to overcome market challenges.
